What is the Explorer's Log?
The Explorer’s Log was created as a tool to help RPG players track their discoveries. The initial version of EL was created for tracking discoveries in the game Starfield.
Do I need an account to use the Explorer's Log?
No!
The EL can be used without an account. Any data entered will be stored within the browser itself. Just be aware that if you switch browsers you will not have access to the data in the previous browser, unless you export and import it.
Also note that images cannot be uploaded to the app without an account. You can self-host them and reference a URL but to upload images you need to register for an account.
What's the benefit of setting up an account?
By registering for an account, your data will be saved within the app itself, not the browser. This means you can use the app on different browsers and devices.
You can also upload images directly to the app, simplifying the process of attaching images.
Is the Explorer's Log free?
Yes, although if you feel like supporting continued development, consider visiting our Ko-Fi account.
What games are supported?
Initially, Explorer’s Log supports Starfield, but support for other games such as No Man’s Sky, Elite Dangerous and Crimson Desert among others is being considered.
